I’ve been thinking about how art can change the world for a long time now.

About a month ago I came across an interview with Isa Fremeaux and John Jordan, co founders of Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination in which they crystallise a lot of stuff that I agree with. You can read it here – http://www.resilience.org/stories/2011-01-21/art-activism-and-permaculture

The kind of work I’m interested in making is about opening up a space for an audience to (re)discover agency.

It’s about opening up a space for wondering about how the world might be better and how we can start to work in that direction.

It’s about finding positive ways to engage with the issues we face as a society (at whatever scale) at the start of the 21st Century.
