For quite a while now I’ve been feeling the lack of a creative community in performance making in Cambridge. Something like what the Cambridge Art Salon is for visual arts. There’s something magical about the kind of community I’m imagining. It’s something about sharing.

I want to make a place where performers and makers come together to share.

A space where ideas can grow.

Maybe something like Improbable’s Devoted and Disgruntled events.

I’m looking to make this an ongoing thing. The idea is to set up meetings early evening and maybe to see a show afterwards.

Oh – it’s going to happen at the Cambridge Junction

More soon!
